Since its foundation in 1995, Authentique has dedicated itself
to celebrating and upholding the fine crafts traditions of Vietnam.
We are home to three workshops:
Cam Kim carpentry, Cam Ha potteries and Cam Giang textiles;
and three pillars of production philosophy:
refined design, select materials and masterly craftsmanship.

Historically, Vietnamese craftsmen created some of the most graceful and highly valued ceramic pieces. At our kiln, only the finest clay is worked by the most gifted hands.

We are most faithful to the traditional craft, and yet also leave room for contemporary forms and other inspirations.

We only use the most precious solid hardwood. With respect for nature’s precious materials, and with faith in man’s gifted hands, our exquisite wood products and furniture are crafted to add beauty, value, and dignity to your home.

Every piece is timeless in design and quality, and only grows ever more beautiful.

Behind every meticulous line of embroidery are endless years of refinement for one of Vietnam's most beautiful traditions.

When possible, we choose fabrics from natural fibres like wild cotton and hemp woven by groups of ethnic people from the northern and central regions of Vietnam.

Our Philosophy

Icon 30.png

We passionately endeavour to unearth the true beauty of Vietnamese craft traditions to the world. Handcrafted with great love and care by our dedicated artisans, our furniture, ceramics, and textile products honour the nation’s most beautiful crafts as unique manifestations of centuries of antique Vietnamese tradition and contemporary refinement. With our own hands, we make the intimate things you need in every day life, and to them we add a touch of timeless beauty.

Our aesthetic philosophy is a delicate blend of influences from Nordic New Design and the effortless grace of Zen from the East, and aspires to bring the pure and quiet beauty of nature into our daily lives. We are endlessly inspired by nature and the organic, uniquely imperfect, and transient essence of its beauty. When an item has a natural and unique history, imbibed with a human touch, it becomes more sincere, more true to life, and infinitely more beautiful. With heartfelt pride and joy in our work, we sincerely hope that you may welcome into your home these beautifully handcrafted pieces for yourself and your loved ones to fall in love with as we have.

Kind words...

"What a beautiful little store of treasures. All handmade with a gorgeous philosophy."

"After several visits to Vietnam, each time based in Ho Chi Minh City, we have come to greatly respect and admire the culture and people of this wonderful country. The quality and appeal of the ceramics that are available in the two Authentique shops we've visited in Saigon, reflect a very high standard in design and style, and we are always keen to buy some pieces, both for ourselves, and as presents. The items that we have bought are not only excellent value for money, a lovely and practical reminder of our visit, but also provide support for a local small business that strives for excellence, in its products and customer service. The staff have always been both friendly and professional, carefully wrapping any item bought, and ensuring an accurate and pleasant transaction. We would recommend any of our friends who visit Ho Chi Minh City to drop in and enjoy a look around the shop if they are wanting attractive pieces of Vietnamese ceramics and craft items of quality and authenticity."

"Beautifully crafted ceramic wares... I am deeply impressed by the beauty of each ceramic product at Authentique the first time I visited their store upon my trip to Saigon. I would definitely order more products for my home. When you know the stories behind these products, you will want to possess the whole collection."

again receive in equal amount of love from those who use and collect it.
